《大洋两岸是故乡》是孙天力的摄影作品集，由浙江摄影出版社出版，作品由作者用超过十年时间的寒暑假拍摄。在父母的陪伴下，孙天力走过中国、美国和加拿大三个国家，行程近十五万公里，拍摄了十余万张照片。本书由从这海量照片中精选出来的最优美的照片编辑出版而成。为了拍好照片，作者常常在不同季节，多次去同一景点拍摄，凝聚了作者的心血。孙天力认为，以真实、美丽和善良的视角去观察这个世界，并且用摄影记录下来，随着时间的推移，就会在自己的内心积聚善良和美丽，把这些照片出版发行，就是要与大家分享、欣赏世界之美，并与大家一起去热爱这个美丽的世界。
Both Sides of the Ocean is a curation of photographs by high school student Edward Sun, published by Zhejiang Photographic Press in China. This work is the culmination of ten years of adventures during the winter and summer holidays spent adventuring across three countries separated by the Pacific Ocean - China, the United States and Canada, where his family have driven up to 150,000 kilometers accompanying him on his ventures in photography. From more than 100,000 photographs taken during this time, the pieces chosen for this publication were the ones Edward felt were most elegant and fitting to his rigorous photographic criteria. In order to capture the exquisite essences of nature most often missed in the passage of time, the author often painstakingly returns to the same scenic locations multiple times in different seasons over the course of his ten-year effort. This project has been a persevering labor of love.
The author believes that photographs of one who observes and witnesses the world under the changing tides of time from a lens of undying honesty, kindness and beauty can imbue within the beholder the same spirit of grace, elegance and integrity. In hopes of bringing the world together to appreciate what we have of this beautiful world, the author wishes that this published curation will be shared and appreciated by the public.

孙天力是美国加利福尼亚州托里·派因斯高中的学生，是该校机器人俱乐部的主席。孙天力喜欢摄影，从小学习摄影，近十年来的寒暑假，跑遍中国、美国和加拿大的角角落落进行拍摄，拍摄了十余万张照片。
Edward Sun is a student from Torrey Pines High School (San Diego, California). During his high school, Edward is the President of FIRST Robotics Competition Team 3647 for two years. Over the last decade, every summer, spring and winter break, Edward traveled with his family around China, the United States and Canada, including more than 150 thousand kilometers’ road trips. Over the years, Edward cumulated a digital photo database consisting of more than 100,000 photos.
